Clarify Your Intentions for 2019

What kind of life do you want to be creating for yourself, your loved ones and the world around you?

We live in a challenging world in challenging times.  You may notice people around you falling into despair.  Some days it might feel like enough of a challenge to keep your own head above water without trying to hold others up from sinking beneath the surface too. Maybe your office environment gets snarky when co-workers feel stressed. Maybe your family members act out when they feel angry, sad or unloved.

It takes focus and determination to stay on track creating a world where you want to live – a world where you feel loved and appreciated.  A world where the people around you are stable and joyful too.

So, how do you keep yourself stable enough to be a light in the dark for others – without extinguishing your own light in the process?

Practice the art of Spiritual Pilates to strengthen your inner spiritual core muscles so you can intentionally create the life you love and desire – a life where you show up as your best self and others contribute to your well-being rather than drag you down.  Consistently practicing the skills of Spiritual Pilates leads to new levels of self-mastery.

Self-mastery does not mean that you never make mistakes or need to re-calibrate your vibrations to get back on track toward achieving your goals and dreams. Self-mastery is about how quickly you get back to center once you have gotten off track.

You are invited to join the Spiritual Pilates online community to practice skills leading to self-mastery.

In Spiritual Pilates, you learn skills to manage your subtle energy vibrations so that you can:

  • Get yourself out of a slump more quickly and feel better faster;
  • Respond to the ups and downs of life without feeling flustered when things don’t go as planned;
  • Improve the quality of your relationships and have more rewarding interactions with people;
  • Feel energized enough to make dinner at the end of the day;
  • Calm your mind chatter and stop making things worse for yourself;
  • Experience more God in your daily life and feel blessed moment to moment;
  • Shine your inner light more brightly so people around you can find their own path more easily.

The next session of Spiritual Pilates: On the Road to Self-Mastery begins November 13, 2018.

  • The live online workshop meets four Tuesdays, 7–8:00pm CT, 8-9:00ET, 6-7:00MT, 5-6:00PT November 13, 20, 27, December 4
  • Recordings available
  • Live and recorded Q&A Weekly
  • Meditations, homework
  • Two live 10-minute mid-day energy resets weekly
  • Closed Facebook group

In Spiritual Pilates we focus on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energy vibrations and how to:

Week 1 – raise and sustain your physical energy vibration so you feel energized and not depleted;

Week 2 – work with emotional vibrations that stop you from moving forward so you can stay on track toward achieving your goals and desires;

Week 3 – assess whether your thoughts are in integrity with your intentions or keeping you stuck in old patterns of behavior;

Week 4 – align body, emotions, mind and spirit for optimal well-being so you are living your life on purpose and you feel fulfilled.

Wisdom for Younger Self

With my 40th high school reunion looming ahead, (40?! Really?! How did that happen?!), another layer of my teenage angst is resurfacing for processing. (Really? Again? I thought I dealt with you already!)

A 40th reunion sounded old when I was 18. But, I don’t feel as old as a 40th reunion sounded then. I am experiencing PMZ— Post Menopausal Zest. I’m just getting started! We baby boomer women are the healthiest, wealthiest women the world has ever known. So let’s Rock It! Who’s in?!

To honor my 40th high school reunion, I am writing a letter to my 18-year-old self with some wisdom I have gleaned over the years. Maybe this  resonates with your inner teenager. Maybe you have some wisdom to add.

Dear Teenage Self,

You turned out OK. There’s still the money, relationship, and health stuff to deal with, but that’s the stuff of life. You have the skills you need to manage life. You are wiser than you know and not as wise as you think.

In case you’re feeling a little anxious about whether you really do have the necessary skills to manage your life, please let me share a few insights that I have learned so far on this journey called life.

  • Pay attention to your wise inner voice. Call it whatever you like — Intuition, Soul’s wisdom, God tapping you on the shoulder. The still, quiet voice under the yapping voice of ego-mind will guide you when life gets stormy.
  • Balance the feminine and masculine energy within yourself first before trying to find that balance through a romantic relationship. Find a balance of receiving and giving, listening and expressing, resting and taking action. Sometimes it’s fun to get a little off-balance, but don’t create drama. Just get back in balance.
  • You are good enough. You always have been good enough. You always will be good enough. The ego on the outside makes mistakes and misses the mark. That’s OK. You fell down learning to walk and you will fall down learning to navigate life. Just pick yourself up, forgive yourself and others, then, move on.
  • Always remember, at the core of your being you are innately, infinitely good and worthy of love. Divinity — call it God, Spirit, Divine Spark — is inherent in every cell of your body. You are composed of atoms infused with divine substance. Your body is a holy temple of spirit.
  • You are a wave in the ocean of God. Don’t confuse the wave with the entire ocean.
  • Embrace your uniqueness. It’s OK to be different. Everyone in your class is unique and has their own gifts and talents. Explore and master your unique gifts and talents. You are here to share them with the world.
  • Don’t drink too much alcohol or smoke weed. It makes you look and act stupid.
  • Life is not all about you. Bless somebody’s life today.
  • Life is a paradox. It IS all about you. Set your inner compass to your North Star. What do you want to create? What kind of world do you want to live in? What are you contributing to the world? If you get off track from your North Star, self correct and get back on track with your divine purpose — the reason you came to this life.

That’s it. That’s enough to get started.

Tap into your inner wisdom. You are wiser than you know.

Oh, and, call your parents. They love you and miss you. You never know when you’ll have to borrow a car.

Peace out!

Your Older, Wiser Self

Spiritual Pilates:
On the Road to Self-Mastery
beginning October 9, 7:00-8:00pm
(recordings available)

In the 4-week, online Spiritual Pilates workshop, you learn skills to respond to the stress of the life from your Higher Self so that you can:

  • feel calm when you arrive after driving through stressful rush hour traffic;
  • educate the rude co-worker about how you prefer to be treated rather than make the situation worse by dishing it back;
  • elegantly shift to Plan B when the dinner burns as the guests arrive.

You also learn to align with your higher energetic vibrations so you can:

  • connect to your personal power center and feel more grounded
  • access your Source of innate Well-Being within and feel deeper self-love
  • align ego-mind with Divine mind to transform negative thoughts into self-forgiveness.

Integrating New Vibrations

 Have you received a gift or had an experience that took you a long while to integrate?  The box sits unopened. The gift card goes unspent. Feeding the new baby seems monumental.

It took me a while to integrate the energy of this painting.  I kept turning the painting until it seemed right. It blew me away that the artist, Linda Rasche, matched my colors exactly without knowing what they were or that I had favorite colors. She followed her intuition.

Have you ever been spot on like that? Without knowing how you arrived at being spot on?

Sometimes integrating the energy of children is like that. Their high vibration can feel overwhelming at times. The children coming to the planet now bring a higher vibration than in the past. How do we older, experienced beings integrate the wisdom, and sometimes raucous energy, of children so that we don’t squelch their wisdom but embrace their contributions?

How do you interact with the kids’ vibrations so your response is spot on?

Good question. One we will be working on in my online workshop Spiritual Pilates: On the Road to Self Mastery. Because, of course, creating an environment where children thrive starts by creating an environment where their parents thrive.

Check with your intuitive wisdom and see if this resonates with you And if the Spiritual Pilates workshop is a good fit for you.

In Spiritual Pilates, you learn skills to:

  • Strengthen your inner spiritual core muscles so you can navigate the ups and downs of life And respond from your higher self;
  • Sustain your higher vibration of peace and calm when the overtired and hungry kid starts screaming for a cookie;
  • Discern what questions to ask when the kid comes home crying from school;
  • Take your mommy wisdom or grandma wisdom to the next level and trust your intuition telling you to change schools so the kid gets the education appropriate to her needs.

As you integrate your higher level of intuitive wisdom, you create an environment where you, the children and your whole family can thrive.

The next 4-week session of Spiritual Pilates starts Wednesday, September 5.

Check in with your mommy or grandma wisdom and see if it feels like the next right step for you.

Be well, Leah

launching live Wednesday August 8, 12:00pm.
Recordings available next day.

In my online program, Spiritual Pilates: On the Road to Self Mastery, you start with the building blocks of vibrational frequencies. You learn and practice tools and processes to tune into your own vibration as an electro-magnetic energy being so you can:

  • connect to your inner reservoir of well-being and feel refreshed and nourished from within and not feel depleted at the end of the day.
  • gain mastery over your thoughts and emotions so you don’t react to other people’s dramas and you can feel more in control of your emotions.
  • strengthen your physical vibration so you heal the headache, abdominal distress or other illness more quickly.
  • rather than letting the stress of life turn you upside down, learn to harness stress like the archer pulling back the bow to launch the arrow forward, so you keep forward momentum going in your life.

What we do in Spiritual Pilates is remind you of the truth you already know in your heart and reconnect you with your Soul connected to God the Infinite Within  – in a way that is real and authentic.

What ‘s so powerful about it is that once you get it – the connection to God Within, the Source of Well-being – your well-being flows out of you and spills into your life. Your cup overflows and others can drink from your saucer.

You will manage your life with more grace, ease, and joy than you believed possible a short while ago – because what we do is help you connect to your Source of Power Within.

In The Flow

Staying in the flow is simple, right? Meditation, exercise, nutrition, and sleep are keys to maintaining a healthy body, emotions, mind and spirit. We know this. So, why do we forget – or avoid – self-care until we finally notice we fell off the wagon? Again.

No worries. That’s the journey to self-mastery. You fell down a hundred times while learning to walk. You will fall off the wagon and out of the flow many times on the road to self-mastery.

You know what out of the flow feels like. Anxious, overwhelmed, frustrated feelings take over and drag you down.

What pulls you out of the flow?

How quickly do you notice you’re feeling anxious, worried, or frustrated?

How quickly do you get back in the flow?

You know what in the flow feels like, too. Life goes along gracefully. The pieces fall into place easily. You feel content. Until you don’t. And you notice you are out of the flow again.

I know that struggle very well. I’m more aware now when I fall out of the flow – which is a good thing. Just ask my kids. Happily, I usually get back in the flow quickly these days. For many years, I was not aware there was a flow at all. I wondered why I felt crappy much of the time. I felt irritable and would act grouchy toward sales clerks. I ate too much sugar but didn’t know my sugar addiction was fueling my negativity.

My life changed when I started working with the subtle energies of body, emotions, mind and spirit. I started to learn how to manage my emotions and thoughts. I learned to tune in to my spiritual core for self-healing. I began to listen to the subtle urgings of my higher spiritual calling. And that changed everything.

The world and all life forms are made of energy and we are energy beings. Our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies create layers of energy vibrations from dense physical matter to higher, lighter spiritual levels.

Many types of healing modalities access the universal subtle energies that flow through all beings. Acupuncture and acupressure use pathways of energy meridians in the physical body for healing. QiGong and Tai Chi practice movement of the subtle energies. Reiki, a form of subtle energy healing, allows the body to align with a higher vibration of healing. Chakra balancing aligns seven major energy centers in the body.

The unique energy work that has evolved through me aligns the individual’s body, emotions, mind and spirit with their Soul, my Soul and the place where we are One with God-the-Infinite. During an individual healing session, we open to Divine Love flowing through our energy systems so health, healing and wholeness can happen.

I am now excited to begin teaching people how to work with these subtle energies for self-healing, self-acceptance and self-mastery. Spiritual Pilates is what I call the process of developing and strengthening the energy layer of inner spiritual core muscles.

You are invited to join my new workshop in the online Spiritual Pilates series
Spiritual Pilates: On the Road to Self-Mastery.

In the workshop, Spiritual Pilates: On the Road to Self-Mastery, you will learn tools to:

  • gracefully return to center when someone pulls you off balance and you want to lash out
  • hit the refresh button when you feel depleted and have no energy to make dinner
  • align body, emotions, mind and spirit so you can hear your own wisdom and know how to respond to the whiney kid from your higher self
  • access and work with your body’s energy meridians and auric field when you choose self-healing so you can strengthen your immune system and heal your illness
  • clear your energy field when someone else’s energy intrudes into your space so you can get rid of your headache or stomach ache without meds
  • tap into the subtle energies of the physical body, emotional body, mental body, chakras, and light body to stay in the flow so you can help others stay in the higher flow and create a  community of open-hearted people around you.

What is your healing journey about these days?

What do you want to heal next?

Say yes to making the shifts to stay in the flow by calling or texting me today 651-472-3995. Let’s set up a phone chat to see if Spiritual Pilates: On the Road to Self-Mastery is your next right step on the road to self-mastery.

Choose Love

Life is not all rainbows, so how do you respond to these crazy times?

I choose love. And I do things that help keep me sane. Here are three:

News fasting – I turn off the news. A steady diet of violence and negativity makes people, me included, feel depressed and helpless. Now more than ever we need people who are tuned in to a higher channel aligned with the Highest Good and Divine Love. When I am not sure of next steps, I ask myself the question: “What would Love do?” Then I imagine breathing through my heart and listen to what my heart says.

Look for beauty – I notice the pile of dirty dishes in the sink and the stinky garbage that needs to go out, and don’t give them much energy. I choose to direct my energy and savor the yellow leaves turning orange, the reflection of the wind moving tree branches in my picture frame, and the sound of wind chimes on my doorstep. I pay attention to what is right with the world and drink it in. I let the goodness and beauty in the world refresh and nourish me. I look for stories of people making positive contributions to others. The more goodness I see the more goodness and beauty I see.

Random acts of kindness – In our spiritual community, the middle schoolers painted rocks with positive messages like: I AM ENOUGH, KINDNESS, and JOY. When the rocks were dry, we walked around the neighborhood and left KINDNESS ROCKS where people would find them. We left LOVE, EQUALITY and PEACE on the steps of a mosque. The kids came back from the excursion with warm hearts after depositing little nuggets of kindness in the world.

What do you do to stay sane during these crazy times? Please share your positive contributions in the comments and spread the love!

Checkpoint

Let me share with you a secret I discovered about getting through airport security more quickly. Does the airport security checkpoint annoy you as much as it annoys me?  In the past few years, I have had the opportunity to practice new coping procedures to stay in the flow of joy, as the lines at the airport security have gotten longer and the security procedures more invasive. Some days I am better at staying in joy than other days. Recently, I surprised myself by coping so well that I got a desirable outcome. While waiting in line, I practiced what I call Spiritual Pilates to strengthen inner spiritual core muscles by aligning body, emotions, mind and spirit. This is the third time practicing Spiritual Pilates has gotten me a favorable outcome in the security line, so I think I am on to something.

I was picking up my unaccompanied minor child at the airplane gate. I thought I had allowed plenty of time to get a gate pass from the airline desk and go through the security check point to meet my daughter’s plane at the gate.  To my dismay, I saw the only security line stretched halfway across the terminal. A lighted sign announced a 40 minute wait time. My daughter’s plane was scheduled to arrive 15 minutes early which did not allow me enough time to get through security and meet her at the gate. An airline staff would need to wait until I arrived to claim my child.

Feeling frustrated about the abnormally long security line, I appealed to a staff person to help me get through more quickly. No luck. I made my way to the end of the line a city block away. A different staff person offered to speed up my security process by enrolling me in a service with a monthly fee. I declined the offer and stayed in the line, now muttering to myself.

Things started to change, however, when I noticed I was feeling frustrated. Then, I remembered a time in the past when I had been waved through the short security line easily and gracefully. That day, I remembered, I had been intentionally focusing positive, good feelings toward all the people in the security process. I decided to focus my intention and attention inward on a positive outcome.

A wave of annoyance came up when I thought about the dehumanizing process of going through the security check point, standing legs apart, and hands up as if I had done something wrong. I recalled having a security guard pat my chest because the machine had detected metal in my bra strap.  I followed the feeling of annoyance inward to the thought that created the feeling. I imagined the thought felt like a wall. I imagined the wall crumbling into small bits which I could easily pass through.

Another wave of annoyance. Another thought about all the inconvenience. I imagined the thought as a lump that melted into a pool. I imagined leaping over the pool of yuck. The line moved a little more quickly.

Another wave of annoyance surfaced about the insensitivity of airport staff people. I imagined the staff people had lives and annoyances of their own and felt compassion for them.  The line I was in started moving more quickly than the line next to me.

A friend came to mind who was going through a challenging time. I thought of her breaking through her own barriers and felt empathy for her.  I arrived at the ID check where the staff person spoke kindly to me. I felt grateful.

At the final security point, I emptied my pockets and put my shoes and belt into the x-ray tray.  All of a sudden, rather than the hands-up, pat-down line, I was ushered into the quick-walk-through-the-doorway line. A small victory for me!

That was the third time in the past couple years that I have intentionally focused positive feelings of love, compassion and empathy in the airport security line with a positive result. Each time, I have been rewarded with a shorter, less invasive quick security check, which I experience as a positive result and which increases my joy. Experiencing the third time convinced me that my attitude of compassion and forgiveness made the difference. I have not always successfully shifted my attitude. This time, however, my positive thoughts and feelings sent out a vibration ahead of me that resulted in a matching vibration of a positive outcome. I even made it to the gate in time to greet my daughter when her plane landed.

If I had stayed in my annoyed feeling state while in line, I would have sent out a vibration that attracted a circumstance to match my annoyed feeling and would have given myself more opportunity to feel annoyed.

Have you had a similar kind of experience? Have you noticed a relationship between how you feel and what shows up to match your feeling vibration? Have you noticed how changing your feeling state has produced a matching result?  Interesting, isn’t it?

I’m starting to get how this law of attraction thing works. Now, on to bigger things. Maybe I can figure out how to get my kids to clean their rooms. . .
